4-H Youth Development

Living the Mission: 4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential working and learning in partnership with caring adults.

The mission of 4-H is to provide meaningful opportunities for all youth and adults to work together to create sustainable community change. The Portage County 4-H Program is a great place for young people to build self-confidence, learn leadership skills, and responsibility….and have a GREAT time doing it! We have many resources on our website for youth and adults interested in participating in the Portage County 4-H Program, but if you don’t see something and you’d like more information about it, don’t hesitate to contact us at the Portage County Extension Office.
